Honduras Visit – March 2014

In March, 2014 Luis and Kayleene traveled to Honduras to meet with their friends, Pastors Juan Jr. and Gabriela Cruz, whom had a challenging year in their relocation from Atlanta, Georgia to Comayagua, Honduras. Despite their many hardships the Pastors’ were able to establish the Church Yahveh Shammah and in the process helping with the needs of the people. Luis and Kayleene had the opportunity to meet with the people of the community and got a glimpse of the quality of life in Honduras. They also visited land properties for the possible site of the Casa Cuna Nueva Esperanza Orphanage.

Luis traveled to Comayagua, Honduras, in November, 2014, with the purpose of visiting land properties for El Cafetal Nueva Esperanza (New Hope coffee plantation). Luis got together with a well known and established local family, that he met on his previous visit, and learned the process of cultivating coffee. He enjoyed the enthusiastic conversations with these coffee growers that were willing to share their expertise about preparing the land, planting the seeds, caring for the plants, and the process of harvesting the bean. Luis met with a distributor who offered, not only advice but also, to be the distributor for El Cafetal Nueva Esperanza.
